Nyud.net to avoid nudniks

Way old news, but worth repeating one more time, so at least I stop forgetting about it. The New York University has made the Coral Distribution Network available for use. This is a caching network for files. While its use for {ahem} certain sites is excellent, I think there is also a good use for general pointing as well. To use it, just append
.nyud.net:8090

to the end of any URL. Got a large file to share? Got a site that everyone will want to go to? Just add that, and through the magic of HTTP redirection, everyone can get the file, and you don't get bandwidth charges.
You can point at...let's say, Refactor! for Visual Basic 2005. Even better, you could use a "Tiny URL" service to make life friendlier, http://tinyurl.com/9tu5n

UPDATE: 4/30 - as Richard points out in the comments, it wasn't the best possible pick to point at Refactor, as it's still a tool being extended. So, instead, may I suggest: Pink 5, the movie? (Safe for work, contains scenes of Valley-Girl speak and some violence towards robots)

The only problem is that when we (Devex) update the build your link will be referring to the old content.

You can always register to receive emails when we refresh (as well as the bonus refactorings).

Here is the direct link to the registration page http://www.devexpress.com/vbrefactor/Register.xml that way you can register and get the bonus refactorings and be on the mailing list for product updates. Otherwise you might not know when we update the product (as we plan to do regularly between now and release of VS2005) and may miss out on new functionality.

Sweet -- thank you Richard. Didn't mean to step on toes, that was just the coolest download I could think of when I was writing the post. Well done on it as well -- some of the hottest refactoring tools around (better than that other one).
