A typical Friday with Coding4Fun: Brian spends Thursday (literally) polishing up articles from our happy, skillful and capable authors. Friday morning (round about 5am when Brian finally crashes for 10 minutes before a VP meeting) Brian sends me the articles and other changes for the week.
- This week was
bitch-slap Content Review, so I finally get to the articles about 10:30. Convert from Word to HTML, pour into templates, update, add downloads, mix, rinse.
- Prop.
- Fix things I messed up on the prop.
- Reprop.
- Fix RSS feed.
- Prop.
- Dang, why no table of contents on the new pages? Oh, right. Prop magic cache-killer trigger file.
- Look over site. Tell you about it.
- Wish I had something to celebrate with.
Oh, I didn't tell you just what is new this week:
- A new "Weekly Updates" section, so you can go back in time and see what we're thinking of each week, and what's new. This week, Brian looks at some of the opening numbers for C4F
- Scott Hanselman provides a very cool "It's hot in here." Watch as Scott builds a temperature monitor using the very cool Phidgets gadgets (mental note: must buy them all)
- Derek Pierson continues his series on Beginning Game Development with an Introduction to DirectX
