DataSet vs. Not, and interesting design decision

Scott Mitchell continues his undefense of using the DataSet in ASP.NET applications over on 4Guys. The arguments on both sides (both those agreeing with Scott that you shouldn't use DataSets and those who use DataSets of varying varieties) are cogent, and as always with these types of decisions, cause me to flow back and forth in my own thinking. Read the articles, blog posts, comments and decide for yourself.
