Maybe it's just Asperger's, or ADD, or some other less fashionable
pseudo-diagnosis, but I hate sitting in conference talks. If I have the
slides, I'm looking ahead. If I don't, I'll surf, or just get
distracted and go somewhere for coffee. Don't get me wrong, I certainly
don't know it all, it's just that I feel that most talks are far too
long. Instead of, "Master Pages let you have one consistent block of
code/markup for your pages. Put content controls where you want to put
the unique parts of the page. Don't nest them more than 'n' deep.
Thanks for your time, remember to fill out the survey, have the veal.",
I get 75 minutes of minutiae. That's why I'm really looking forward to
seeing what the RDs do with their
GrokTalks.
