Ajax. There, I said it. Ajax

A very cool online dictionary that uses ASP.NET and Ajax to give you word definitions, synonyms, or (my favourite) element information *as you type*! Showing once again that ASP.NET developers can compete with the best of them (and that Ajax can be done without a framework, although that does make things much easier). (via LifeHacker)

You said it 4 times

typing ajax in there doesn't yield any results. You think we could build a web-based WoW client using Ajax? Omg, I'd get fired!

I think Ajax is missing as he used an old Project Gutenberg dictionary, although I'm surprised the Greek Hero didn't show up as the definition.

I've suggested numerous times that they should have a Web interface (maybe not a full UI, which would be ... interesting) -- imagine if you could check your mail or status of auctions without actually having to login, but only to check a secured Web page? That would cut LagForge in half, I think. Add "Looking for Group" to the page (or to IM), and IronForge might actually be a nice place to visit again.

Could have been better.... if I could select one of those words in the the thesaurus drop-down to include in my test...like it usually happens for members of a class in the VS IDE
