Personally I am trying to figure out what the heck Google Base is? I mean "Base" that about as good of a marketing name as .net was. Confusing and tells me nothing about it. Is it just bulk uploading of adds or what is it? at first glance that is all it seems to be or like a personal add business. I hate adds as much as the next person so I was quickly out of there.

It does seem to be an odd beast. Seems a relationship with CareerBuilder and a few recipes have started it off, but I'm not sure what the purpose is. Maybe gunning for the Craigslist phenomenon, while at the same time, saving themselves from actually having to pay out any Google ad money.
